Pet Sitting Policies and FAQs
When you come to my home for extended stay, what is the cost?
Prices are per day beginning when we arrive and include an overnight stay, 1 walk, and feedings. If we leave by 10:00 am the final day there is no charge for that day. If after 10:00 am, we will charge a half day price.
Do you offer meet and greets before pet sitting?
Yes! Meet and greets are a great way to figure out if your pet feels comfortable with us and we are able to care for them properly. You are in no way obligated to work with us if you feel the interaction does not go well. We want you and your pet to be comfortable and happy with our services.
What are your COVID Safety Precautions?
We do our meet and greets outside when possible and wear masks when indoors with clients. When we arrive for our overnight stays we disinfect and also clean prior to departure. We will also bring our own sheets and pillows as well as towels washcloths and toiletries.
Clients are welcome to choose an extra cleaning package which includes dusting, sweeping, mopping floors, and deep cleaning of kitchen and bathrooms. Learn more here.
Where do you sleep when you stay at my house?
Whichever room the client prefers. Leave the door open and bed with no linens. We will take care of everything.
Will you sleep with my pet?
Yes! For a small fee we will gladly cuddle your pup or kitty.
Will you water my plants?
Absolutely! For a small fee we’ll be happy to help with any size garden.
Will you take in mail?
Of course! Receiving mail is no charge at all.
Will you clean my home?
Light cleaning is part of our responsibilities. Your home will be as you left it, if not a bit tidier, when you come home. If you prefer a deeper clean, we offer an option.
What if my pet has an accident?
We prefer pet friendly/non-toxic cleaning supplies to be available for cleaning. However, we will use whichever products you specify to clean up.
Other Policies:
We will bring our own food and drinks. Feel free to leave a list of items that we can eat or drink if you like.
We will not do overnight pet sitting for any home that has active indoor cameras. Cameras must be deactivated while pet sitter is staying overnight. Outdoor cameras or doorbell systems are absolutely acceptable.
If there is a cancelation within 24 hours, we will gladly reschedule. If this occurs 3 times, we will no longer accept pet sitting appointments from client.
